Bloom Again
The Molly Bloom Foundation has been created in Molly’s honor. Molly Bloom has an amazing spirit and is an inspiration to many. This foundation has been created to positively benefit others who find themselves in a situation similar to Molly’s.
History
On Saturday, May 13, 2006, Molly Bloom was severely injured while entering a limo at her senior prom. Molly had to undergo numerous surgeries, including the amputation of her pelvis and leg. She spent several long, arduous months in the hospital recovering from this accident.
Molly was a stand-out swimmer on the East High School swim team in Denver. Following the accident last May, Molly has been able to return to the pool and the sport she loves, in addition to the pursuit of several other new activities.
Our Mission
To provide assistance to seriously ill or injured individuals so that they may enjoy renewed self-confidence, independence, or recovery through physical activities and sports.
What We Have Accomplished

- Sponsored a recently injured Grand Junction girl for a season of skiing
- Facilitated equipment purchases for a quadriplegic in Arizona
- Sponsored the Denver Lady Rolling Nuggets with travel funds for wheelchair basketball tournaments
This work could not be done without the generosity of individuals and businesses in our community.
